Shout Out From Roanoke, Va Tech, Blacksburg, ...
Seems I am the only active member. Need to get Dankford involved again, not sure what happen to Gonzo. I see a few 8's, but seems I am always headed to work. Saw a lightening Yellow the other day, even have a lil blue hair lady driving a Grey one around. Mariann and I ran out of cards at one time putting them on the Speed 3's and a few 3's and 6's as well and not one new member joined. Not sure what is wrong with us, but I will keep trying.
I did see a Ti gray 8 headed south between Roanoke and Blacksburg on our recent road trip. Unfortunately, it started dumping rain, so my plans to hit a little of Skyline Drive and hike Humpback rocks fell through. It was in the Mazda3i anyway. We did manage a stop at Bodo's Bagels while in C'ville, at least.
I like to think that i count as an active member. though certainly not as active as i would like to be. And im sure everyone hears me coming from a mile away

I am sorry I forgot about you being here. I am just a little frustrated with all the cards I have place on windows around town that I have not gotten one person to sign up. Roanoke is supposed to be a car crazy town.
True, but when im on a computer, im usually playing around... ( looking through random sites or laughing at funny cat photos ) and fred, we'll have to get together sometime for dinner/coffee, ect. anyone else in the club/region are more than welcome too.
we need to organize an event similar to our monthly meetings, perhaps over near the burglund mazda lot. or just all take up a parking lot downtown and meet for coffee
I agree! Roanoke would be a great place to gather if we could only get some members. In the long run I had hoped to join in with the Va Tech car club for the occassional meet, but we just haven't had any response from that side of the state. Go figure, they must all be riding the Parkway and don't have time to surf the internet.
Well I am up for almost anything. With my the little dealings I have done with Berglund, never got the impression they would be up for a meet at their place. But could never hurt to ask. I know there are Mazda's here, but just can not seem to find the right ones to join up.
