Meet #2 - Bringing VA Together ... Richmond! February 20th

We might be able to ride through Powhatan on route 60 and find you somewhere. Haven't really decided on a convoy path yet. Are you North of 60 or South? Our usual route from Lynchburg is 460 E to 360, directly into the bottom of Richmond, but now we have to go to Short Pump so we'll be on 288 up to Short Pump. 

I'm sure we can find you somewhere!

Quick you want to meet up and head up together?  As of now I do not know of anyone else heading out from down here.

Sure! Your going 460 to 295 correct? I could meet you off 460 right by 295 since I am about 13 mintues from that point. There is a big truck stop on 460. Can't recall the name of it.

I might meet up with playerr2255.  I weas debateing riding up 10 just to see what the roads are like.  Anything has to be better than the same old ride up 64 or 30.  So you would meet up right below richmond then.  I will let you know as I know.

Jonridinhi i should know by tomorrow night if i got approved for that day off and should be able to let you know then.

I believe me and the missus will be coming in 2 vehicles.
Me in the ratty primered Miata and her in the family car so she's not stuck standing around with our almost 1 year old daughter.
So I'll actually be bringing a Mazda this time.

UH-OH!! Checked the weather and there calling for snow on the 20th!!! What are we to do?!? I'm so sick of this Global Warming....uh....huh??

Well, if it holds up like it did last year, we will be fine. I think the weather forcast unpleasent weather 80% of the times for our meets, but almost all of them turned out to be really nice.

Well it will be just me and not mx-5.  She spends most of the winter so far tucked into the garage.  LOL.  As long as it is not that bad I will head up.

maybe you should do some research, like i did before assuming that

Another quick note on the radar detector thing - some of you probably already know, but that bill expires soon, so there is a CHANCE they dont renew and they'll become legal. Personally I dont use the device as I think its over rated, but its nice to see VA try to get with the times. We may even start seeing 70mph interstates....
