are radar detectors now legal?

yea, as long as you dont get caught, thats why i bought the only one that they cant detect.

I really enjoyed the last Richmond meet but can't make this one.  :(

Hopefully I'll see you guys at VIR in April.

Just FYI, they can detect anything you can buy, just a warning... and if they catch you with it, its theirs :)

Most likely we'll take the 460 route. I haven't really looked at it yet. Since we are going to the Short Pump side of Richmond, the easy route is 29N to 64E, but that's a bit boring. So we'll see, I'll look at a couple of options.

As for radar detectors, I don't own one, never have, don't plan to ... but my bet would be that the cops have knowledge on whatever kind of detector you can by. 

We'll try to stay at 4 mph over the limit.

I'll be there as long as it doesn't snow.. I will be taking the 295 route.

Quick you want to meet up and head up together?  As of now I do not know of anyone else heading out from down here.

Welcome Player. Well we have a meet every third Saturday of each month. Plus a few extra's scattered about. Our next one will be in Richmond, as a bringing the state together meet. Where are you at? From any direction, there is usually a convoy to our meets. Most meets originiate in Lynchburg, but like this one, we sometimes change the location.

Im in Newport News. Only know a friend of a friend that has a mazda like mine but still wanna come to yalls meets and enjoy the things yall do as well

I through out an idea on another forum about a LARGE meet in Richmond with Mazda fans from both sides of the state ... it prompted me to start our usual monthly planning thread here. I'll let you know what kind of response I get.
