Anyone interested in an RX7
I was searching craigslist and found an RX 7 for $700. No idea the condition, year or anything. I'm just posting this in case someone is looking for a parts or project car.
I sent an email to the guy to see if I can get more information. Might be nice for a parts car. Maybe it will have the twin turbos and I can do a swap!
Not that I can see the CL post here at work but I doubt its a FD at that price, just the shell alone would sell for a couple of grand.
It's no doubt a FC of some sort, maybe even a dead TII - but I doubt it, most likely it's a S4 NA.
Would parts from that sell at all?

Oh yeah, they will sell. You'll have to sign up on RX7club.com first, get your eBay account ready and maybe Craigslist. It's a lot of work to dismantle, clean, take pics and moniter the questions on forums. But yes, there is money to be made most likely. It's a good side hobby if you have the time.
Well the seller has been less than helpful. He has no pictures an d all he told me was it needed new tires, brakes, and window motors.
Might have to track him down since he is in Harrisonburg. I think depending on the model I might get it for parts, although I'm buying some 8 parts at the moment too.
elet us know what you find out, if it is an FC it'll be really easy to find parts for
you could probably even find a running parts car on CVMC in the for sale section

Mike what 8 parts are you getting?
Just ordered Unorthodox pulleys. Looking into a Pettit S/C too cause I hear their kit works with 09s, reflash kit and all. I wish the AccessPorts worked..
bah, do suspension first!
Hit up all the racing beat catalog has to offer, or some fortune auto coilovers- sways, chassis bracing, poly bushings, then go for a 3 rotor :-)
Wow, I assumed like an exhaust or something. I'd want to wait until the warranty was gone before a supercharger. If you aren't worried about that then DO IT!! That would be awesome to have someone in the club with that.
Brandon, I'm looking to upgrade my suspension next year. I'm not doing much, springs (haven't decided on a brand), maybe shocks, and racing beat sway bars. Not planning on autocross, just something to make it a little more fun around the curves
. Oh and I agree with the 3 rotor, nothing beats the sound of a 3 rotor especially with a turbo!
