There was another rehash of the Kabura on 8 club lately. I doubt there will be another rx7 but hopefully a Rx-9 :)) 2 door coupe. And yes I know there was a old rx-9.... like a 929 with a rotary i think?
Is that a new article? How did a dealer get the info if it's late breaking news? You would think AutoWeek or some similar mag would have something too. Irregardless, I'm drooling. I've been drooling since the Kabura concept popped up several years ago.
Nope, no "RX7" will return - I'm banking on it. The RX-9 is possibly or some rehash of the old r100 naming conventions, like the "Mazda R900", etc...
The original rx9 was essentially the luxury car "Luce" that started back in the early 60s... and evolved into the 929 like car w/ a rotary option.
The RX9 will probably show up in 2011 as a 2012 model. Rumors of the larger displacement 16x motor are still there as well... we'll see. Also said to have a dual clutch sequential 6spd trans like the evo x. If I had to speculate, I wouldnt be surprised if the rx9 comes out as having a few engine options... mazda is starting down that path again like they did in the 60s and 70s... I'm all for it too...
