K&N Typhoon 2 short ram intake for the RX-8
I recently bought this intake and installed it myself but after driving with it for 2 weeks I decided to take it off and try to sell. The intake works fine (my computer took a day or 2 to get used to the intake). My only problem is that it's pretty loud. I have a 9 month old daughter that I have to drive around so the intake turned out to not be too feasible. Again the intake is fine and has all the parts, instructions, stickers, etc that came with it.(Stickers add 10 hp to the butt dyno if you stick them to your seat 
)
Installation should take easily under an hour. Like I stated before the intake was only used for about 2 weeks max. To buy new they are $315 and up being that it was used so little I'm asking $270 obo. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
Put that back on the car!!!!!! My exhaust doesn't bother my 8 month old. Seriously, is it that loud? I don't have a use for it, just curious.
Hi, Chey I have a racing beat exhaust and I know that's not exactly a loud exhaust but the K&N intake was about 2 to 3 times louder than the exhaust (when my exhaust is full throttle). So trust me it's definitely noticeable. But to be honest loud to me might not be loud to you and I'll admit I enjoyed going to redline just to watch peoples faces around me . I think I'm going to keep it stock with a high flow air filter and maybe the racing beat duct.
