What's Your Favorite Cleaner/Compound?
Well I had to start this thread just so I could tell you about Meguiar's #105. Nate will know I've been dying to try this stuff. Kept reading about it on Autogeek.net. Well it's some goooood stuff! I was detailing my neighbors truck this weekend (our t-shirt source). He just bought the truck but since 2003 when it was new the acid rain and other worldly things had done a number on it.
One pic shows the passenger door, washed but still streaked. The other two are the finished product. He was pleased.

Snag some Adam's undercarriage spray and you can darken the wheel wells easily.
Very nice....isnt satisfying to bring paint back to life.

Yeah, I've never had to deal with a large 4X4 like that. Ton's of space behind the wheel and not very much fender liner, just a bunch of metal. I caught a lot of it with tire black to cover up most of the space but the flash hit that beam pretty good didn't it?
I thought he must have gotten a new truck..... looks good
Yet another "thumbs-up" for Meguiar's #105! In an ongoing effort to clean up the swirls on my own car, I finally found the right combination. My new Flex buffer and of course Meg's #105 did (or is doing) the job. My old Porter Cable buffer wouldn't cut it, suprisingly.
Fred! These shots are for you. I'm going back for the rest of the car tomorrow. ![]()

And now after:

You want to buy a 7424 off me for cheap? Or can I put it towards a detail? I have pads and errthang.
Oh very nice John. Wow that Flex is really something. Now you see, first place in the next car show!! ![]()
Even though I don't detail for a living, I do believe I will get me a flex sometime over the winter, early spring to use on our vehicles. All results I have seen have been fantastic.
