I'm sure most of you know that there is a Mazda3 Great Falls Meet & BBQ on June 6th. It is open to EVERYONE Mazda3 or not....On June 6th at 9am a bunch of Richmond people and hopefully 757 group will meet at the Ricmond Braves Diamond parking lot and hopefully we'll leave from there by 9 30 the earlier you roll in the more pics we'll be able to get... if you have a friend who knows how to take pics and won't be doing anything that day bring him along the more rolling shots up the better!

Also this is not a Honda Vadriven meet ... we shall not drive like assholes :-)

Let me know if you guys are interested in coming through.

Haha there's already a thread on this but we'll use this as a convoy thread.

We drive 5 over the limit, I had 10 cars going up to Lynchburg this weekend and I led.  I love changing lanes and watching them all snake over behind me.  Bad part about leading is that I get covered in bugs.

I am pretty sure the parking lot is locked now that there is not a team...

We might want to pick something above the 295/95 interchange so the guys from va beach convoy can take 295 around the city.

Ok so the trip would take an 1hr 45min from the Diamond, and to arrive at the middle school for the pre-meet cruise by 11:30am we'd have to leave Richmond (Diamond or nearby) by 9:45am.  See you guys there!

I work till like 9:20am but can head out that way and chase you guys down...

Quickest way to the diamond from short pump?

Is it better to just catch up on the highway....

Takes 13 minutes from Broad and Pouncey Tract to the Diamond

Or you can hop on 295 and try and beat us to 95 & 295 interchange (you'd be something like 2 minutes behind so you could book it on 295 or go slightly faster than our speed once you reach 95 and catch up (I could call you and tell you our speed).

You sign up for it online?  And sign up for the pre-meet drive from that middle school?

You missed the cutoff for BBQ so be sure to pack lunch.

Registered and bought 2 meals haha. Fat Albert needs his samiches. Just registered for the pre-meet at the middle school. I think I'll zoo-BOOM BOOM*COUGH*  down the 295 to 95 North. The manager is good at being late with stuff. I'll appreciate the call though. See you guys on the interstate : p

P.S.- $5 bucks acknowledged. Someone can have my extra meal ticket if necessary.

That looks like a HUGE amount of Protege and Mazda3, was that the majority? Was it suppose to be that way? Great turn-out though, huh?
