Hand Job Or Rotary Buffer?

Some of the old school guys may shout loud and proud here that "Waxing by hand is the only real way to clean your car". I did it for many years as well. Even after I bought my first Sears rotary buffer ($39.95 I think) 15 or 20 years ago, there were times when I had to grab that small circular pad and rub it by hand to get the desired effect.

Well I'm here to tell ya, the new orbital buffers are the way to go. Actually, hiring a professional to do it for you ever 6 months is the way to go. But assuming most of you don't do that, here's what you need....

Wax by hand if you want to, I do. But polishing is definitely meant to be done by machine. !
