I think I'm going all out except strut tower bars for bracing (my strut tower is against the firewall anyway).

The first one on the RX8 page is pretty hot, but it'd be hard to match the rest of the car unless you got the rest of the kit.

without some homework and photoshop mockups at least...

Are they doing the Earth Ground system? I'd LOVE to pick one of those up... had my eye on 'em for a while, but they're a bit pricey from Corksport...

You can make a grounding kit for much cheaper with 8ga wire and a few ends.  I did it for my throttle body and the ground is so much more helpful it makes it much quicker responding.

yeah and if you ground everything to a better location than factory that helps a lot... I am thinking about making a grounding kit.  Using 8 gauge and a common connection point that grounds to a clean source.. my factory ground had paint under it!!! a lot of good that does..  I was going to get them anodized, since the connection will be aluminum, I am going to get CNC's here at work and then could even throw the CVMC logo on  it with our new bad ass laser engraver here.  Just a thought..  But yeah grounding yourself is quick and easy... and there are bunch of big3 grounding How-to's on the threads..

But it's SO much easier to just buy a kit, especially one that comes with specific mounting locations. grinI'd just like to know what kind of price it would be if I wanted it.

If you make a kit I want to be there for it, and aluminum connections?  BOO, they stopped using aluminum for a reason!  www.partsexpress.com for cable ends, also there's this super crimper out there that crimps from 4 sides but I haven't seen it yet.  I do have the super sweet wire strippers the go sideways, not the usuall multi-tool.

Mine has paint under it as well.  A few companies make great grounding bolts like this JL Audio one:
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/graphics/62___connection
and a distribution block:
http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1333024/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046

If you can get a deal on some proper sized ring terminals count me in on that project.  I've wanted to do this for awhile... I also have HIDs to go in so my front bumper is coming off anyway soon...

HIDs, big 3, grounding...

yeah I have HID's to go on too...  I wan't going to make the connections out of aluminum, just the box or cover if you will of the connection points, just for looks really.. mainly cause there is a machine shop here at work  and its fun to design stuff and b cause I want to put the logo on something with that laser engraver.  Plus I can get tons of air craft and military grade aluminum for nothing as well as PC or anodizing.

Oh and I need to hardwire the power and hide the wire to my GPS :-)
The same for my ScanGauge.

And when you get your GPS, here's a sexy mount like what I have:

Also a bit easier but less permanent/sturdy:

Ok well I have Spring break (off work for a week, perks of working for public schools) in a few weeks, I'll head up and we can do HIDs and some grounding stuff, maybe even a big 3 if I'm brave.

Can we laser etch my phone?

I'm off the week of the 5th.

I actually do like that. It looks basically the same as stock but with a bottom lip and the side skirts help it look more sporty. I don't have any money right now though. Maybe later in the summer when I come back from Europe.
