When:
Every Friday 8:00 – whenever

Where:
Starbucks Coffee
5001 Huguenot Rd
Richmond, VA 23226, US

It's at the Starbucks on Huguenot Rd right by the Huguenot bridge.
Not strictly a Mazda meet but alot do show up.
Saavedro88 and I are pretty much regulars, there are almost always at least a dozen cars no matter what the weather is like, and on upwards of over 60 during the nicer mnoths.
No asshattery allowed, just people talking cars and track events.
Oh and caffeine consumption.

hey I saw you put some bracing on your miata, check out autoexe:
http://www.autoexe.co.jp/english/car/Roadster(NB)/index.html

I'm looking into some for my 6 so it's all stiff (heh) before I do the full racing beat and bilstein treatment on the suspension.

So when I show up I should look for the 5 or the 7? and ask for who?  (I'm Brandon)

His name is Dave, he has a long (awesomely) hippie ponytail and he'll most likely be driving either the 325 sedan or the 325 wagon. And if we're REALLY lucky, he'll bring the wife and NEW BABY!!grin I will probably be in the 7 which you've already seen, unless it's raining really badly...  (summer tires)

If I'm remembering correctly, I posted about this meetup in the last forum, and several seemed interested, but none showed. What's up with that??

Rain and summer tires mean you get better traction than all seasons man!

All seasons have a compound that's made to stick to water and snow so you get snow traction, summer lacks that so it sticks to the road better and not the water.

Oh I'll be there, and 88 do you text?  I don't want to cost you money if I send one.

I know it, that's what I'm saying, I have Z rated Summer Only tires on there right now.
Yes I do text. What provider do you have?

The big red.

Damn that butterfly brace is sexy as hell.  I wish they had flyin' 6...

I'm waiting on a quote to join in on a Group Buy of autoexe stuff and see what I can stomach.  I'm also looking at houses soon so I want to leave some breathing room for myself.  I know I can't make the 6 quick without some big changes so I'm going to make it handle like a mofo.

Streetunit has even more but this will be through Mazmart in GA.  They also just did the group buy for those annoying plastic screw rivets that go in fenders and undercar covers.

I live so few miles from that Starbucks. I am near the intersection of Forest and Three Chopt. Hmmmmm maybe I should stop by? Does the fella with the ponytail have a red miata? I seem to remember a guy pullin' next to me on Monument Ave and telling me he liked the sound of my Agency Power exhaust. It was over the summer. One of the few times I frove the 8, as I cycled to work alot last summer.......

That was me!
The Miata is no longer red though, it's a lovely shade of primer black, see Miata Forum for pics.

I went by 2 weeks ago at 7 and 11 but i guess it was before and after.  For those that stay out late, you know where else there is?  I know it gets ricier the later it gets but I've had to run once because some douche pulled a gun (not on me, it was across the lot) in the Kroger parking lot downtown.  I've never seen an exodus of running like that before but the cops took maybe 25 seconds to appear, it was unreal.  We applauded and they did burnouts!  Great night.

Since my GPS is able to pull up the Va fun roads map, maybe we'll hit one if it's not raining.

yeah - 7 is too early and 11 is too late except in the summer, never had an incident other than some dipshits that went next door to the Eye Institue parking lot to do burnouts and donuts, they got bitched out by us and have never returned

Watch VAdriven's "Central" and "Events" forums for the occasional random or organized meets some including dyno runs.

I don't think I'll be hitting any roads afterward since I will no doubt have the wife and baby along.

HAHA NVM, holy shit is it raining now.  I got to Tropical smoothie and was like wow this isn't gonna happen.

Well I guess I'll have to find some Saturday meet spots if the rain holds off.  I also realized, I NEED MY HIDs ON ASAP.  And no I didn't get blue, I got 4200K so I get more light output and don't blind others.
