Tiffany, glad to have you join in. Look forward to seeing your car at the Richmond meet.
As for the twin-to-single conversion, I know the master mechanic here in Lynchburg (@ the Mazda dealer) has done them. I like him a lot, so he would get my vote.
how much does it normally run?

434.385.7736 is the dealership #. Ask for Shaun (Mazda service mgr). Tell him you are in the Central Virginia Mazda Club (10% discount) and that you would like J.D. (the mechanic) to give you a price. Shaun may be able to do it himself.
okay ill give that a try...kinda tight on cash thou. No anyone that would do it "backyard"...let me help and learn kinda thing?
i haven't done twin to single conversions before, but i've worked on plenty of turbo cars previously, and i cant imagine that it would be that different. however, Roanoke is kinda far to drive to do that.
Love the black on black. Welcome
Thankx
Hey everyone. Newbie here from Virginia Beach. I'm pretty excited to see other fellow Mazda enthusiasts here. This is my first Mazda car which I enjoy driving. My daily driver is a lightly modded 06' Mazdaspeed 6. I'm going to try my hardest to show up at the meets and get to know some good people. Oh yeah, no welcome is complete without a pic.

Welcome themarsvolta. Love the Speed.
Nicely done themars, we'll see if we can't get some more pics of that Speed6 this coming weekend. Hope to see you there.
Welp, another new forum!
I was going to to un-sub from my Hawaii ones, but they still ask me questions - so I'll just add this one to my list to check!
This is Kane, 2007 Phantom Blue RX8, with some small mods done.....
Enjoying meeting everyone at the meet this weekend, now I need to talk my wife into bringing her Speed6 out while I am deployed. BTW - I did the GT35 swap on the FD back in the day, it wasn't really bad at all - it is the dis-assembly that gets you, and plan for a new engine wiring harness.... they get cooked and are very brittle when removing.
My driveway isn't too bad! SO far digging VA.... now about those tracks :)
Can't believe your Mrs didn't bring the 6 this weekend! Waz up with that? She can come to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) in April while you're gone and rub it in that you missed it.
Welcome to Virginia.
Welcome Kane,
Didn't get a chance to introduce myself, but I did love your car and the "few" mods. Hopefully you will be a long time resident of Va and get to experience some of our roads here. You definitely need to come west to the hilly side, we have some nice twisties.
